Vidya Jayaraman's journey began with a deep focus on the Carnatic composer Muttusvami Dikshitar. In his honor, she created guruguha.org and initiated the first English translation of the Sangita Sampradaya Pradarshini. She also holds degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration and previously worked as an IT consultant.
